Seeking Passionate Daycare Team Members

We are looking for energetic, positive individuals to join the E. John Gavras Center Daycare team! Our Daycare staff welcomes children from 6-weeks old to 12 years old to come and spend the day with us; and you just might be that team member that will make a difference! The daycare is open Monday – Friday, 6am – 6pm, so morning and afternoon schedules are available. If you believe you have what it takes to:

• Ensure the safety of the children

• Teach and encourage positive social skills, good hygiene habits and be a positive role model 

• Organize games and activities that allows children to learn age appropriate material 

• Develop schedules to ensure that children have enough physical activity, rest and playtime 

 All applicants must possess a:

• Have reliable transportation

• Ability to clear the background check through the New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS)

• Must possess an AAS degree in Early Childhood or Child Development and one year of experience related to caring for infants and toddlers
